Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated highly skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and entry-level mechanical repairs on commercial trucks. This position supports fleet and customer vehicle safety reliability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks in compliance with company DOT and federal/state regulations.
• Diagnose service and repair vehicle systems including brakes clutches HVAC steering suspension and drivetrain components.
• Inspect maintain and repair 5th wheel assemblies and assist with emissions-related maintenance as applicable.
• Safely operate hand tools pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Accurately document repairs inspections and maintenance performed on work orders and reports and complete additional assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of diesel technician experience in diagnosing and repairing light medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Experience performing PM related services.
• Must have a valid drivers license: CDL Preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.

Salary

• $18.00 to $23.00 an hour.
