Job Overview
The Category Head will be responsible for driving category growth profitability and brand performance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead innovation manage end-to-end category performance and translate consumer insights into impactful business strategies.
Responsibilities
Oversee category P&L to ensure sustainable financial performance and profitability.
Develop and execute category and brand strategies to drive market share growth.
Lead innovation initiatives and ensure timely execution of projects within the pipeline.
Strengthen brand equity through purpose-driven marketing initiatives aligned with business goals.
Analyze consumer behavior and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing Management or a related field; professional qualifications (CIM/SLIM) are an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience at a Senior Brand Manager level preferably in an FMCG environment.
Strong understanding of brand management media planning and market dynamics.
Experience in digital marketing market research and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) data analysis and presentation tools.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication collaboration and negotiation abilities.
Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and deliver measurable results.
