Job Overview
The Category Head will be responsible for driving category growth profitability and brand performance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead innovation manage end-to-end category performance and translate consumer insights into impactful business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee category P&L to ensure sustainable financial performance and profitability.
- Develop and execute category and brand strategies to drive market share growth.
- Lead innovation initiatives and ensure timely execution of projects within the pipeline.
- Strengthen brand equity through purpose-driven marketing initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Analyze consumer behavior and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Management or a related field; professional qualifications (CIM/SLIM) are an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience at a Senior Brand Manager level preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of brand management media planning and market dynamics.
- Experience in digital marketing market research and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) data analysis and presentation tools.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication collaboration and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and deliver measurable results.
