About the Role

We are seeking a Medior ICT Expert specializing in Linux and Kubernetes to support IT operations within a large-scale enterprise this role you will be responsible for the setup management and continuous improvement of systems and platforms with a strong focus on Kubernetes as a core platform for modern applications.

You will work within an IT operations team responsible for maintaining and evolving infrastructure across Linux systems networking and storage environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain Kubernetes platforms (preferably on-premise)
• Manage and optimize Linux-based systems in an enterprise environment
• Perform daily operational tasks including monitoring backups and incident resolution
• Automate infrastructure using configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Support the rollout of new systems upgrades and decommissioning of legacy environments
• Ensure system reliability performance and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and infrastructure needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes (setup configuration upgrades usage) in an enterprise environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Ansible configuration management
• Strong experience with Linux system administration
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Fluent Dutch (CEFR level C2 mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Experience with build & release automation tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Server)
• Linux scripting skills (Bash Python Perl)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Elastic Nagios)
• Knowledge of enterprise networking (Cisco ACI Palo Alto F5)
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions (NetApp HPE Alletra StoreOnce)
• Understanding of enterprise IT environments and infrastructure operations
• Bachelors or Masters degree in IT Engineering or equivalent experience
