Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Willows CA
Salary: Up to $58 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday no weekend rotation
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Willows CA. As an Occupational Therapist you will work with individuals of all ages who have physical developmental or emotional challenges that affect their daily functioning. Your goal will be to help these individuals achieve maximum independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients physical emotional and cognitive abilities to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients improve their motor skills coordination and sensory processing
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to increase their independence in daily activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians nurses and speech therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor patients progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to promote independence and safety in their home and community environments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy physiology and kinesiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and communication purposes
