NDT X-Ray Level II

The NDT X-Ray Level II Inspector is responsible for performing radiographic inspections on cast components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong technical skill attention to detail and the ability to interpret inspection results accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate radiographic (X-ray/film) equipment to perform NDT inspections in accordance with approved procedures
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results to determine acceptance or rejection of parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings work instructions and specifications
• Perform inspections based on written and verbal instructions including repair work orders and technique sheets
• Set up tooling and equipment; make adjustments as needed to ensure accurate test results
• Perform equipment checks calibrations and standardizations to maintain inspection integrity
• Inspect cast parts for material defects and irregularities
• Identify non-conformances based on size location orientation and pattern
• Complete all inspection documentation in compliance with company and customer requirements
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process or equipment improvements
• Support development of new inspection techniques and procedures when needed
• Collaborate with technical teams and escalate complex issues to Level III or leadership as appropriate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4 years of experience in casting environments
• NDT Radiography Level II certification with documented hours required
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to learn new processes and adapt in a production environment

Compensation

• Salary Range: $72800 $83200 annually
