Pay Rate:$30 -$34/hour
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support within a behavioral health setting working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to deliver safe compassionate and patient-centered care. This role may also include continuous patient observation (sitter responsibilities) to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and feeding
• Observe monitor and promptly report changes in patient behavior condition or vital signs
• Maintain a safe structured and therapeutic environment for behavioral health patients
• Perform continuous observation/sitter duties for high-risk patients as assigned
• Support de-escalation techniques and adhere to behavioral health safety protocols
• Accurately document patient care activities in a timely manner
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience preferred (behavioral health experience strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with professionalism empathy and composure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Schedule & Shift Details

• 5 shifts per week
• 8-hour shifts (Days and/or Nights)
• Flexibility required based on unit needs
