We are currently seeking a full-time Primary Care/Addiction Physician at the Eastern Correction Institution (ECI) in Westover Maryland.
Salary Includes a $25K Sign-on Bonus
The Primary Care/Addiction Medicine Physician provides prevention evaluation diagnosis and treatment services for patients with unhealthy substance use or substance-related health conditions in a correctional setting. The Physician works under the direction of the SUD Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate services are provided.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required Board certified or Board eligible or qualified by state laws/regulations to practice medicine
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
One to two years experience in a progressive supervisory or management position in an outpatient/inpatient substance abuse program
Two years experience providing direct care in a community or correctional substance abuse program
