Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

• or strong experience in building responsive dynamic user interfaces

• GoLang (Golang) hands-on experience in backend development for 12 projects with core understanding of Go syntax and best practices

• RESTful API design and implementation understanding of HTTP standards JSON data formats

• Database knowledge: Basic experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB) for backend data access and integration

• Version Control: Git comprehensive experience managing code repositories and collaboration workflows

Preferred Software Skills:

• Cloud environment familiarity (AWS Azure GCP) experience in deploying or managing services in cloud environments

• Microservice architecture and API management tools knowledge of API gateways or platform services

• Containerization: Docker Kubernetes experience deploying Go services in containerized environments

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components using or ensuring usability and responsiveness

• Design build and enhance backend services and APIs with GoLang focusing on performance scalability and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsproduct managers UX designers and backend developersto implement integrated solutions

• Conduct code reviews enforce best coding practices and promote quality standards

• Troubleshoot technical issues optimize application performance and ensure system responsiveness

• Contribute to technical documentation such as API specifications architecture diagrams and deployment procedures

• Evaluate and suggest new technologies to improve platform efficiency and developer productivity

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: GoLang JavaScript ( proficiency in both backend and frontend development

  • Preferred: TypeScript HTML CSS for frontend additional frameworks/libraries as needed

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Basic experience with SQL (MySQL PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB) for backend data interaction

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Familiarity with deploying services in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP (preferred but not mandatory)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

Experience Requirements

• 68 years of progressive experience in software development with at least 12 projects involving GoLang in back-end development

• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices

• Exposure to frontend frameworks ( or ) is strongly preferred

• Experience working in agile teams participating in code reviews and adhering to best practices in software engineering

• Candidates with experience in cloud deployment API platforms or microservices are highly desirable

Day-to-Day Activities

• Build test and deploy backend services and APIs using GoLang for high-performance platform integration

• Develop frontend modules with or ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces

• Collaborate in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings with cross-disciplinary teams

• Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve technical issues rapidly to ensure platform stability

• Write technical documentation and API specifications for ongoing development and integration

• Evaluate new technological trends relevant to API and backend development and implement improvements accordingly

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent; Masters degree preferred

• Demonstrated experience with GoLang in a professional environment with a portfolio of 12 projects

• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs at scale
