The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Facility Support Technician. This isnt just a cleaning jobyou are a crucial part of our infection control team. Your work directly ensures that our doctors and nurses can save lives in a safe sanitary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Sanitation: Deep clean and disinfect exam rooms treatment areas and surgical suites following strict medical protocols.
- Floor Care: Sweep mop and operate floor scrubbers in high-traffic hallways and lobby areas.
- Waste Management: Safely dispose of general waste and recycling; ensure biohazard containers are handled according to safety regulations.
- Lobby & Public Spaces: Maintain a five-star appearance in our waiting area including glass cleaning dusting and restroom sanitization.
- Supply Management: Monitor cleaning inventory and notify management when supplies need restocking.
- Exterior Maintenance: Keep the entryway and immediate perimeter of the clinic clear of debris or pet waste.
Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: You notice the spot everyone else missed.
- Reliability: You understand that a medical facility cannot function properly without a consistent cleaning schedule.
- Stamina: Ability to be on your feet for the duration of a shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Communication: Ability to follow written protocols and communicate effectively with the medical staff.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical dental or veterinary setting is a plus but we are happy to train someone with a strong work ethic.
