Associate / Senior Associate Corporate Solicitor (5 PQE)
Salary: bonus
Location: Buckinghamshire (34 days office)

Youll handle a broad range of corporate matters and play a key part in driving transactions forward.
- Running corporate transactions from instruction through to completion
- Advising on and drafting key corporate documentation
- Managing deal timetables and coordinating input from relevant parties
- Supporting business development and strengthening intermediary relationships
- Helping to mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Company sales and acquisitions
- Investments and restructurings (including demergers and capital reductions)
- Shareholder and regulatory matters
- Shareholder agreements LLP agreements and related corporate governance
What our client is looking for
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 5 years PQE in Corporate law (strong UK practice experience)
- Experience handling corporate transactions including M&A and related advisory work
- Confidence negotiating with counterparties (including larger City/regional firms)
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- A commercial proactive mindset with a genuine interest in clients businesses
- Exposure to deals up to c. 40m (and leading smaller deals independently)
- Experience with EMI schemes and/or other HMRC-approved share schemes
- Experience with secured lending and loan/security documentation
- Existing contacts in corporate finance (helpful not required)
Working arrangement and location
- Buckinghamshire office base
- Expectation of 34 days per week in the office (with some flexibility depending on circumstances and performance once established)
- This role will suit candidates who can commute sustainably (living 23 hours away is unlikely to be workable)
