OurProduct Support and Logistics Division (PSLD)is one of the most innovative divisions within PSLD as within all of Caterpillar our priority is ourcustomers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly everyelement of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities technology and operational excellence.
As an EHS Supervisor you will be responsible for providing leadership mentoring and direction to hourly salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental Health and/or Safety (EHS) activities related to a small facility or one discipline at a medium to large facility.
Additional Information:
- This role is located in Clayton OH and does not offer relocation.
- This role is 1st shift Monday Friday.
- This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
- This role requires up to 15% domestic travel
What You Will Do:
- Identify common safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organizations operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards.
- Ensure EHS training is completed to comply with regulatory requirements or in support of facility division or enterprise objectives.
- Audit safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards government regulations and adequacy relative to local conditions.
- Monitor periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts line management to problems.
What You Have (Basic Requirements):
- Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand monitor update control or enhance existing business or work processes.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.
What Will Set You Apart (Top Candidates Will Have):
- 3 years of experience in EHS management in a mid-to-large manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Environmental Occupational Health and/or Safety degree or equivalent experience.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or other certifications.

Summary Pay Range:
$89210.00 - $133810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
