Infusion Nurse Part-Time

Schedule:20 hrs/week. Rotating - 3 days one week 2 days the following week.

Week 1: Wed-Thur 7:00am-4:00pm

Week 2: Mon Wed Thur: 7am-4:00pm.

(Part-time requires full-time on-site training for several weeks.)

*Schedule will be transitioning to two 10/hr shifts in August: 7:00am-5:30pm days TBD.*

Wage: new hires generally start between$42.60-$52.50and placement in the range is dependent on an evaluation of experience.

As a (non-chemo)Infusion Nurseyou will work in an outpatient infusion setting with a team of skilled professionals.

Responsibilities include:mixing and administering biotherapy agents maintaining knowledge of the actions/interactions of the biotherapeutic agents aid in the delivery of quality health care act as a patient advocate for a broad range of people with varied ethnic religious and socio-economic backgrounds and help patients maintain their health and treat illness.INFUSION EXPERIENCE PREFERRED!

Required Experience

• Active unencumbered Washington or Multi-State RN licenserequired. (required to have active Washington RN license within 60 days of hire or transfer if using multi-state licensure)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider certification.

• Excellent venous access skills to include peripheral IV insertion mediport and PICC care and maintenance required.

• Previous experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred.

• Previous experience with electronic medical record preferred.
