About the company
Remote World is partnering with a UK-based EdTech company to hire for this role. They build an online learning platform used by over 500 universities and corporate training teams worldwide and they need a writer who can make complex software feel easy for instructors and administrators.
The role
Youll write the end-user and administrator documentation that helps institutions set up and run their learning environments effectively. Youll translate product features into practical step-by-step guides that reduce support load and increase product adoption.
What youll do
- Write administrator guides instructor manuals and student help content
- Document platform setup configuration and integration workflows
- Create training materials and onboarding content for new institution customers
- Collaborate with the product team to document new features at launch
- Maintain and improve existing documentation based on support feedback
What youll need
- Excellent written English with a clear accessible style
- Able to understand software products quickly and explain them to non-technical users
- Organised you can manage a documentation project from brief to publish
- Empathetic writer you think about the readers level of confidence not just their task
Nice to have
- Experience in education e-learning or instructional design
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (Moodle Canvas Blackboard or similar)
- Background in teacher training or academic administration
