POSITION SUMMARY: As a VM Coordinator you will oversee and manage the execution of all Secondary visual merchandising ensuring alignment with clients standards and business goals. This role requires enforcing timelines working with brands and cross-functional partners making decisions related to promotional visual merchandising and maintaining the integrity of in-store visual presentations. You will be a key decision-maker in the planning implementation and continuous improvement of visual merchandising strategies.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead collaboration with merchants and cross-functional teams to execute visual merchandising strategies that align with corporate goals and brand vision. Manage promo areas from concept to deliverables to directives.
- Oversee the board to track and manage all sign requests and ensure smooth coordination between teams. Ensure the board is up to date with accurate information on graphic tracking artwork approvals and store execution.
- Manage and make strategic decisions regarding product sample requests displayers and visual elements to ensure that store sets align with VM and objectives. Ensure all displayers fit on designated fixture and work with fixture vendors when applicable. Approve installation guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in the execution of visual standards: Maintain oversight on the alignment of visual displays with brand guidelines and the overall store experience ensuring a cohesive look across all stores.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cross-departmental collaboration with Space Planning Marketing and Store Operations teams to ensure accurate product information merchandising planograms and seamless implementation of store set details.
- Manage POG Exceptions. Approve planogram exceptions through and make necessary changes in the Promo Planner.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Undergraduate degree or 4 years of relevant experience in a retail or visual merchandising environment.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in merchandising visual marketing or related fields with a proven track record of leadership and decision-making within the visual merchandising space.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and optimize processes for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings negotiate with vendors and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools (e.g. ).
- Must travel to Bolingbrook office bi-weekly and have ability to work and set in mock store.
