Overview:

The Application Developer performs high-complexity (system-level) analysis design development and unit testing of software applications based on user requirements and design documents. The candidate resolves defects encountered during testing cycles and must understand application flow and requirements to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform. This role supports a time-sensitive decommission project focusing on design and implementation of target-state assets.

Skills:

Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Solid knowledge of programming languages application servers database servers and system architecture
Strong understanding of modern programming languages and ability to apply them to meet business needs of FNMs internal customers
Proficiency with AWS services (EMR Lambda SNS SQS ECS Fargate Batch EventBridge CloudWatch etc.)
Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD solutions using GitLab and Terraform

Education / Work Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
Professional certifications preferred
10 years of software development experience across relevant platforms
Solid IT background and experience
Experience as an application developer on projects of similar scope and responsibility
