Job Summary
Job Title: DevOps Consultant
Location: SFO CA or Dallas TX (Onsite from day one REMOMTE NOT ALLOWED)
Duration: Long term
Mandatory Skills: CI/CD Tools/Orchestrators (Azure DevOps Git GitHub Actions Docker Kubernetes)
Job Description:
Must Haves:
Good Experience in CI/CD Tools/Orchestrators (Azure DevOps Git GitHub Actions Docker Kubernetes)
Experience in the following technologies: Python PowerShell & Go
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code patterns & tools (e.g. ARM Terraform GitOps)
Proficiency with Multi cloud platforms (Azure GCP OCI)
Working on at least one Kubernetes cloud offering (AKS/GKE) or on-prem Kubernetes (native Kubernetes)
Experience with Unix platforms system administration skills in UNIX.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead DevOps best practices automate and optimizing critical deployments in Azure & OCI Cloud Platforms
Work with the team to develop features and improvements targeting cloud platform automation (e.g. cost optimization integrations automation enhancements proof-of-concept/prototype work)
Responsible for the 99.99 uptime of the Ship platforms.
Strong desire to simplify the developers debug experience by adopting and on boarding the right tools across the enterprise.
Build operationalize and maintain CI/CD solutions for our technology customers
Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned applications functional areas or projects
Build maintain and support enterprise production systems with a business mindset keeping an eye towards simplicity reliability maintainability scalability extensibility and performance
Drive resolution of operational and production issues in a timely manner.
