Job Summary

Job Title: - Java Developer

Duration: - Long Term Contract

Location: - Seattle WA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a strong background in payment systems and payment gateway integrations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable backend services for secure and high-performance transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain robust Java-based applications
Integrate and support payment gateways (e.g. Stripe PayPal Adyen etc.)
Work on payment processing systems including authorization settlement and reconciliation
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices
Ensure application security performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product QA and DevOps
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Java Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations
Knowledge of payment processing workflows (PCI compliance tokenization etc.)
Experience with REST APIs JSON and web services
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL or Oracle
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in retail/eCommerce domain
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
