Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve plant and production efficiency

• Develop and optimize facility and equipment layouts for maximum utilization of space and personnel

• Conduct studies on cost control cost reduction inventory management and production systems

• Develop and implement plans for facility modifications and process improvements

• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies

• Assist in establishing safety and accident prevention measures

• Support or lead training programs related to production operations

• Collaborate with facilities engineering on planning and design efforts

• Utilize data analytics and statistical methods to drive decision-making

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment

• 6 years of experience in factory layout and design

• 6 years of experience developing large-scale equipment and workspace layouts to improve productivity and reduce waste

• 6 years of experience in work measurement and time standards

• 6 years of experience with work measurement techniques (e.g. PMTS work sampling direct time study)

• Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

• 6 years of experience in data analytics and statistical analysis

• 6 years of experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
