Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Remote in LATAM

Duration: 12 months (minimum)

Start Date: June 2026

Level: Mid-level (CCNP equivalent)

Rate: 25/hr - $30/hr on W2

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Network Engineers to support a high-priority network separation and migration this role you will help deliver both the build and operational workstreams required to decouple network services modernize connectivity where needed and maintain infrastructure stability throughout the transition. You will be responsible for executing cutovers validating end-to-end connectivity and troubleshooting complex issues in a Cisco-centric enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployment & Migration: Execute network separation tasks in Cisco-centric environments.
• Routing & Switching: Configure and maintain OSPF and BGP across enterprise-scale networks.
• SD-WAN Integration: Deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions alongside campus switching environments.
• Hardware Management: Hands-on work with Cisco campus switching (IOS XE) platforms.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Use ThousandEyes and SolarWinds to monitor network health troubleshoot latency and maintain performance during transition windows.
• Operational Support: Balance new build requirements with ongoing operational support to minimize disruption during the separation.
• Site Travel: Travel to sites as needed to support hardware deployment and local cutovers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years working with Cisco technologies in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Certification: CCNP (Enterprise/Routing & Switching) or equivalent practical expertise.
• Protocols: Strong hands-on proficiency with OSPF and BGP.
• Platforms: Extensive experience with Cisco IOS XE and Cisco SD-WAN.
• Monitoring Tools: Working knowledge of ThousandEyes and SolarWinds.
• Deployment Experience: Proven track record supporting large-scale network migrations and/or separation programs.

To excel in a separation/migration engagement candidates should also have:

• IP Address Management (IPAM): Experience managing IP schema changes and subnet migrations.
• Firewall & Security Transition: Familiarity with Cisco ASA and/or Firepower (FTD) and maintaining security policy intent during cutovers.
• Circuit Provisioning: Experience coordinating with ISPs for new circuit handoffs turn-ups and service migrations.
• Documentation: Proficiency with Visio or Lucidchart to document current-state and future-state network designs.
• Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder communication and ability to perform under pressure during critical cutover windows.
