Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced L2 Azure Cloud Engineer to support enterprise cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps operations in a production environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services CI/CD pipelines scripting and operational support with the ability to troubleshoot issues optimize cloud resources and support ongoing platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Operations

• Manage and support Azure cloud environments.
• Monitor performance availability and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application-related cloud issues.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using:
  • PowerShell
  • Bash
  • Python
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and deployments.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Support:
  • CI/CD workflows
  • Repositories
  • Artifacts management
  • Release management

Incident & Support Management

• Provide L2 production support for cloud environments.
• Investigate incidents resolve escalations and improve reliability.

Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Development teams
  • Infrastructure teams
  • Security teams
• Support smooth deployments and system stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Experience

• 5 years of hands-on experience as Cloud Engineer / Azure Engineer.

Azure Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • Networking
  • Storage
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Monitoring tools

Automation

• 5 years of scripting experience with:
  • PowerShell
  • Bash
  • Python

DevOps

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Release management
  • Git repositories

Preferred Certifications

• AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate
• AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AZ-400: DevOps Engineer Expert

Strict Screening Criteria

• No Azure hands-on experience Reject
• DevOps-only without Azure ops Reject
• Cannot work 2 PM 11 PM EST shift Reject
• Non-GC / USC Reject

• Hands-on with DevOps automation
• Comfortable in support shift environment
