Job Summary
Head of Sales - India
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our engineering sales operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth within the engineering and heavy engineering sectors with a strong understanding of industrial products and extensive experience in the Indian market.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in India.
- Lead mentor and motivate a high-performing sales team focused on the Engineering / Heavy Engg. / EPC industry.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within key industries such as Cement Coal Power Generation Wind Hydro O&G/Petro Fertilizer Mining Metals and Construction.
- Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends competitor activities and customer needs to adapt sales strategies effectively.
- Manage sales budgets forecasts and performance reporting.
- Provide expert guidance on sales of Maintenance Tools Hydraulics Tools Power Tools and other industrial products (excluding consumables).
- Ensure effective collaboration with other departments including marketing product development and operations.
- Drive business development initiatives and expand our market presence across Maharashtra and other key regions in India.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (.) degree.
- 10 to 18 years of progressive experience in sales with a significant portion within the Engineering / Heavy Engg. / EPC sector in India.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in selling Tools & Tackles Maintenance Tools Hydraulics Tools and Power Tools.
- Proven success in selling industrial products (excluding consumables) to industries such as Cement Coal Power Gen Wind Hydro O&G/Petro Fertilizer Mining Metals and Construction.
- Exceptional leadership strategic planning and business development skills.
- Strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics and customer base.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales management and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required within India.
