About the Company
Our client is an established healthcare organisation with a growing presence across Asia. With a portfolio focused on chronic care the company is currently expanding its commercial operations in Thailand and investing in strengthening its field sales capabilities.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Country Manager the Head of Sales will lead the national field sales organisation and play a key role in driving commercial performance and organisational growth.
This is a second-line leadership role overseeing both sales managers and direct sales staff with a strong focus on building team capability strengthening execution and supporting the expansion of the sales structure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Organisation Management
  • Lead and manage the national field sales organisation including second-line leaders and direct sales teams
  • Provide coaching and direction to sales managers to ensure consistent performance across teams
  • Build and strengthen leadership capability within the organisation
Commercial Performance
  • Drive national sales targets and ensure achievement of key performance indicators
  • Establish strong field execution standards and improve sales discipline
  • Monitor performance and implement action plans to address gaps
Team Development
  • Develop and enhance capabilities across the sales organisation
  • Coach and support both managers and junior team members to improve performance
  • Lead onboarding and development of new hires as part of team expansion
Expansion & Organisation Building
  • Support the growth of the sales organisation including hiring and structuring new teams
  • Contribute to territory planning and coverage optimisation
  • Partner with the Country Manager on organisational design and scaling strategy
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing medical and other internal stakeholders to drive aligned execution
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across functions
Requirements
Experience
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical healthcare consumer health or related industries
  • Current or recent experience in a national or senior sales leadership role in Thailand
  • Track record of managing both second-line leaders and direct sales teams
Leadership & Capabilities
  • Strong people leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience in building developing and scaling sales teams
  • Hands-on approach with strong execution focus
  • Ability to operate effectively in a growing and evolving organisation
Market & Channel Exposure
  • Experience covering GP specialist or pharmacy channels
  • Background in chronic care vitamins supplements or related therapeutic areas is advantageous
