Job Summary

Position: Manager – Tea Tasting

Location: Coimbatore

Qualification: Graduate preferably with Science/Commerce background

Experience: 8–12 years of experience in regional or national packet tea companies

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manager – Tea Tasting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tea tasting selection and blending along with a deep understanding of the Indian tea industry.

Salary : As per Industry Standards

Key Responsibilities:
- Taste evaluate and select teas suitable for company blends
- Ensure familiarity with all tea grades and quality parameters
- Make informed purchasing decisions based on quality and cost considerations
- Handle responsibility for tasting allocation and procurement of teas
- Develop and formulate blends as per company requirements
- Create new blends and identify teas to meet evolving business needs
- Suggest innovative approaches to improve processes without compromising quality

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of South Indian teas; exposure to North Indian teas is a plus
- Ability to assess tea quality pricing and suitability for blends
- Willingness to take ownership and accountability
