Were supporting a leading offshore and marine consultancy as they grow their Marine Operations capability. This is a senior clientfacing role for an experienced marine professional who enjoys combining technical delivery offshore execution consultancy and business development.
This is a senior clientfacing role combining project delivery technical authority consultancy and business development. You will take ownership of marine operations scopes from early feasibility and tendering through to offshore execution ensuring high standards of safety quality and commercial performance. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to service development and provide leadership across project teams and specialist resources.
The role can be based in either Aberdeen London or Newcastle and is a Hybrid role with some offshore travel
What You will do
- Lead and deliver marine operations projects ensuring high standards of safety technical quality schedule and commercial performance
- Act as the primary client and stakeholder interface including suppliers and assurance bodies
- Develop review and approve marine operations methods procedures and technical documentation
- Manage contracts scope variations resources and project forecasting
- Support business development and tendering including scope definition cost and risk estimation
- Promote the organisations wider service offering and represent the business externally
- Provide leadership across project teams support recruitment and contribute to service development
- Drive continuous improvement through client feedback and a strong focus on safety quality and environmental performance
What Were Looking For
- Master Mariner or degreequalified (Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / similar)
- Strong experience in offshore marine operations delivery
- Background in:
- Towage and transportation
- Hookup / disconnect of floating assets
- Subsea transport and installation
- Proven project management experience
- Comfortable managing contracts risk and commercial performance
- Experience delivering and selling consultancy / advisory services
- Confident communicator with strong clientfacing skills
- Right to live and work in the UK; THIS ROLES DOES NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP
