Description

The Youth Advocate Supervisor oversees a team of Youth Advocates who provide direct support mentorship and advocacy for young people facing social emotional educational or behavioral challenges. This role ensures high-quality service delivery staff development and compliance with program standards.


What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

Supervise coach and support a team of Youth Advocates through regular check-ins performance evaluations and professional development.

Oversee case management practices ensuring accurate documentation timely follow-ups and adherence to organizational policies.

Provide crisis support and guidance to staff when complex youth situations arise.

Maintain a manageable caseload of youth clients modeling best practices in engagement and advocacy.

Uphold trauma-informed culturally responsive and youth-centered approaches in all aspects of the program.

Requirements

Qualifications/Credentials

  • The desire to work with youth
  • Valid MA drivers license with acceptable driving record
  • Experience working with youth (12-18) in a residential/group care setting

Additional Experience welcomed

  • Education or degree in Psychology Social Work Child Development or Teaching
