JOB SUMMARY
The Community & Entrepreneur Engagement Coordinator serves as the primary external-facing representative of Saint Louis Universitys Habitat for Neighborhood Business (SLU-HNB). This role is responsible for building trust within under-resourced neighborhoods engaging aspiring and existing entrepreneurs developing partnerships and ensuring that entrepreneurs feel supported heard and well-served throughout their participation in SLU-HNB programs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Advances SLU-HNBs mission by actively engaging in under-resourced neighborhoods and strengthening community relationships
Conducts outreach to identify aspiring and existing entrepreneurs for participation in SLU-HNB programs
Serves as the primary point of contact for SLU-HNB entrepreneurs ensuring consistent communication and engagement
Regularly verifies and documents entrepreneur satisfaction expectations and program impact
Supports entrepreneur onboarding and assessment in collaboration with the Operations & Program Coordination Manager
Maintains a visible presence in the community and at events to strengthen trust and awareness of SLU-HNB
Recruits engages and retains volunteer
Attends evening and weekend community meetings and events as required
Represents HNB in meetings presentations and speaking engagements
Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree
Marketing fundraising or public relations experience
Experience working with Universities
