ABOUT THE ROLE
AUI Fine Foods Inc. is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Lead for our Corporate Account Management (CAM). Channelwho can develop strong working relationships with a variety of corporate account customers including National Accounts manufacturing sub-distributors premier level customers cruise airline and export customers and more to provide best in class customer service. This role will oversee daily billing cash application and collection activities to ensure monies owed to the firm are received and posted in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will mentor staff resolve complex disputes analyze aging reports and reconcile accounts to optimize cash flow in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
As a response to the pandemic Albert Uster Imports office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule requiring employees to report in-person Monday through Wednesday with the option to telework on Thursday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative cross-functional nature of the organization employees at the Gaithersburg office are required to work in-person for the abovementioned days outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.
RESPONSIBILITES
Managing and overseeing day-to-day collections for assigned Corporate Accounts customers
Correspond directly with customers regarding past-due accounts and invoices as well as insufficient or inaccurate remittance information to recover backups and resolve discrepancies
Partner with Sales customer service and Warehouse personnel to research deductions and prevent issues
Investigate resolve and respond to complex billing discrepancies and customer queriers
Responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation and analysis of customer deductions; Initiate disputes for invalid deductions
Issue credit memos for authorized and valid deductions
Research and reduce unidentified and unapplied cash
Prepare reports and analysis on the status of credit and collection matters; provide regular updates to management on these matters.
Supervise train and mentor AR Specialists
Identify report and present trends in a customers deductions
Other duties assigned by Management
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
3-5 years of experience in a senior level AR role
Strong leadership analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail
Capable of self-prioritizing workload and ability to handle high volume of tasks
Ability to provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skill preferred (pivot tables VLOOKUPs)
Proficiency in Office Suite (PowerPoint Outlook Word etc.)
Preferred
BA/BS in Accounting Finance or related discipline
Experience with Microsoft Dynamic 365 Business Central or similar ERP
SALARY RANGE
AUI Fine Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways AUI Fine Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The annual salary for this role will be $75000 $85000.
This role is bonus eligible.
