Qualifications

  • Outgoing proactive personality with strong goaldriven motivation
  • Knowledge of current agricultural practices
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and sit stand or squat for extended periods
  • Ability to safely operate hook up secure and transport equipment
  • Willingness and ability to mentor lessexperienced candidates
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build customer relationships
  • Proficiency with computerized tools and reports
  • Strong math skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelors degree in business or an agriculturerelated field
  • 3 years of account management or direct sales experience in ag equipment or a related field

Average Day as a Production Ag Account Manager

In this role you will:

  • Support customers in making informed decisions with tailored agequipment solutions
  • Leverage your knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment to guide purchases
  • Appraise tradeins and lead equipment demonstrations
  • Oversee product delivery and operator training
  • Build and maintain longterm customer relationships
  • Research industry trends and monitor competitors
  • Stay current on incentive programs and financing options
  • Develop innovative solutions that streamline processes and cultivate sales growth
