Description:
As a Field Service Representative (FSR) you will lead complex projects and tackle non-routine assignments with minimal oversight. You will train users on Engineer Systems in sustainment and fielding of programs. Actions include providing training and maintenance support to users for Product Manager Engineer Systems (PdM ES) systems located within the contiguous United States (CONUS) and outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). The FSR should have knowledge of and support PdM ES solutions both mechanically and technically associated with implementation and troubleshooting to assist with PdM ES deployed solutions installation activities such as system setup configuration functional check-out fault identification system conditioning as well as de-installation of equipment as needed. The FSR will also provide critical communication from field users specifically informing the applicable personnel of PdM ES on any incidents that involve PdM ES fielded equipment.
Primary duties will include (but not limited to):
- Provide support to III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) to conduct scheduled (quarterly) and unscheduled (as needed) preventative and corrective maintenance on PdM ES systems and communicate status to the applicable team responsible for sustainment of the system.
- Conduct operator and maintainer training of PdM ES fielded solutions to identified Marine Corps personnel in CONUS and OCONUS locations as required at the direction of PdM ES leads typically in support of program office schedules or requested from Commands.
- Provide continuous logistics support to the Government for support of inventory management at various locations and parts ordering to maintain equipment readiness. Activities include but are not limited to assessing physical location of equipment responding to data calls and updating the Responsible Officer Logistician or other Government representative of any identified changes to equipment status.
- Provide new equipment training to provide a working knowledge of PdM ES fielded solutions and be responsible for coordination and delivery of new equipment training to III MEF forces to include schedule and planning activities conduct onsite or virtual training as directed by the Government collect feedback from attendees and incorporate updates into training products.
- Participate as a member of an equipment fielding and installation team by facilitating the coordination of fielding efforts traveling to fielding locations and supporting the inventory and issue process.
- Participate in Technical Manual review verification and validation.
- Serve as warranty coordinator and unless otherwise directed submit warranty data on behalf of III MEF supported units and PdM ES.
- Gather information from various data sources (information systems and key personnel) to synthesize coherent responses to task for review and submission.
- Work closely with program office and contractor staff in various competencies including logistics engineering development and integration.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.
- This position is not eligible for remote work or 100% telework.
- Proficiency in calculating design data preparing parts lists/estimates and navigating general guidelines to develop high-performance engineering solutions.

- Enterprise Task Knowledge Management Software Software II (ETMS2).
- Familiarization in the following areas is a plus:
- An understanding of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and demonstrated ability to provide training support including New Equipment Training and computer-based training and all associated documentation.
- Warranty coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Access
TEAMS) and OnePager.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- An associates degree (Engineering Tech Math or Science); OR
- Formal military/technical training (Class A or B school / 4-year apprenticeship); OR
- High School Diploma/GED with significant additional experience.
- 6 years of practical engineering experience (with Degree/Formal Training) OR 10 years of experience (with HS/GED). Proven Expertise: A deep background in designing testing and modifying complex equipment and technical data analysis.
- Preferred candidate will have a background in the Marine Corps Military Occupational Specialty field 1100 (Utilities) or 1391 (Expeditionary Fuels Technician).
