About the Role:

The Team:

The Collection Platforms & AI team focuses on building ML powered products and capabilities to power natural language understanding data extraction information retrieval and data sourcing solutions for S&P Global and our clients. You will spearhead development of production-ready AI products and pipelines while leading-by-example in a highly engaging work environment. You will work in a global team and encouraged for thoughtful risk-taking and self-initiative.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Design and develop scalable machine learning models and AI systems for natural language understanding and data extraction applications

• Build and maintain production-ready AI pipelines and infrastructure to support real-time data processing and model deployment

• Lead the development of information retrieval systems that enhance data sourcing capabilities for S&P Globals platforms

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions and product features

• Drive innovation in ML methodologies while ensuring robust testing monitoring and optimization of AI models in production

• Mentor team members and contribute to technical decision-making processes that shape the future of AI products at S&P Global

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Machine Learning Data Science or related technical field

• 3 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or scikit-learn

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform for ML model deployment and scaling

• Proficiency in data processing technologies including but not limited to Apache Spark Pandas or similar data manipulation tools

• Strong understanding of natural language processing techniques and information retrieval systems

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MLOps tools and practices such as MLflow Kubeflow or similar model lifecycle management platforms

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker Kubernetes or OpenShift for model deployment

• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for large-scale data processing

• Previous experience in financial services data analytics or enterprise software development environments
