Job Summary
The Cumberland School Department is looking for a Certified Special Educator to work as a Mild/Moderate or Severe and Profound teacher for our extended school year which runs from July 6 2026 through August 6 2026 (no ESY on Fridays). You will receive support from teacher assistants and therapists as well as our on-site ESY will be responsible for implementing IEPs writing a summer progress report and developing must possess Rhode Island certification or have submitted a complete certification file to RIDE prior to the start of the ESY program. New or soon-to-be graduates are welcome to apply.
