The Office of Charter Schools serves as the Universitys authorizing entity responsible for the review approval and ongoing monitoring of charter schools.
The Assistant Director provides leadership for academic performance monitoring and program compliance. The role ensures consistent monitoring processes and protocols evaluates school performance and contributes to authorizing decisions through analysis and professional is afull-timeposition reporting to the Director of Charter Schools.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Academic Monitoring & Instructional Oversight 30%
Lead monitoring system implementation; conduct site visits; ensure consistent protocols; analyze instructional quality; prepare reports.
Application Review 15%
Review applications; identify risks; collaborate; support contract development.
Program Compliance (Including Special Education) 20%
Support monitoring of compliance; review data; coordinate with experts; evaluate alignment with requirements.
Renewal Review 15%
Analyze performance; support renewal decisions; oversee and coordinate diagnostic reviews.
Intervention & Corrective Action Oversight 20%
Lead intervention framework; determine escalation; oversee corrective action plans and progress.
