Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join a busy imaging department in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures including venipuncture when required
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Float between similar units as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Active state license required at time of submission
- Required Certifications:
- ARRT (R)
- BLS
- Venipuncture Certification
- Willingness to work rotating weekends
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
