Job Summary
Location: The Learning Experience Columbia
Schedule: 9am6pm MondayFriday (full availability required)
Compensation: $16$17/hr based on experience
- Plan and deliver engaging developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
- Maintain a safe clean organized and stimulating classroom environment
- Support daily routines and transitions to ensure a smooth positive flow
- Build strong trusting relationships with children families and fellow staff
- Observe document and communicate developmental progress and classroom behaviors
- Model professionalism positivity and leadership within the classroom community
- Experience working with preschoolage children (ages 35) preferably in a lead role
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative teamoriented mindset
- Flexibility to work within the centers 7:00 AM6:00 PM operating hours
- Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
- Has or will obtain the 15hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification (free) before orientation day
- Has or will obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- A passion for early learning creativity and classroom leadership
