How You Will Make an ImpactThe Parts Coordinator is responsible for processing parts orders keeping track of inventory levels and ordering additional merchandise as needed to meet the needs of the company and its Nuts and BoltsHelps drive a positive customer experience by building relationships exhibiting empathy and providing solutions for their needsReceives orders via telephone email Sales Force and other forms from customers ensures accuracy and completeness of ordersFollow up with customers and/or vendors on all customer orders phone calls and inquiriesVerify the correct source price current availability and lead-time of the requested partReview and update open order report to ensure accuracy Provide assistance with warehouse responsibilities such as ordering receiving stocking inventory and record keeping; suggest product changes additions and stocking levelsOrganize all inventory locations and storage points to ensure inventory is easy to locate and identify for accurate and rapid placement and pullingReturn all non-stocking parts are returned to vendor and all refunds/credits are applied for and processed in a timely fashionPlace inventory orders to satisfy customer orders and maintain inventory levelsMay assist in maintaining stock levels and pricing on showroom displays and ensuring displays are presented professionallyParticipate in scheduled physical inventory random audits and daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse is at or above established standardsPerform end of billing procedures to ensure inventory is correctly committed and reducedCollect modes of payment (Cash Check Credit Card) may apply payment to invoice may reconcile daily transactionsRequired CredentialsZero (0) to two (2) years of experience in related parts salesPrior experience working with ERP/MRP programs preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel Word and OutlookAbility to recognize basic mechanical partsKnowledgeable in proper cash handling proceduresKnowledgeable in vehicle body related parts and service industryHow We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture distribution and enhancement of work truck bodies.
