Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures on adult and geriatric patients while ensuring high standards of safety accuracy and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment safely
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and best practices
Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide appropriate care
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for accurate diagnostics
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
Active state license required at time of submission
Required Certifications:
BLS
CNMT or NMTCB certification
Experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine preferred
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems required
Ability to float within scope as needed
