Software Product Manager – Genomic Reporting Systems

Labcorp is seeking a US based remote Software Product Manager Genomic Reporting Systems to join our team!

Position Summary:

Sample to Answer (S2A)is aresearch development and operational platform dedicated to generating high-quality clinical results at scale and advancing the use of genetic information in healthcare which is part of the Center of Excellence vision information is delivered through a number of reporting systems serving multiple lab sites and will workwith both internal and external toolsmaintainingrelationships with third partyvendorscoordinatingpurchaseorders andvolume metricsguidingthe development of several reporting systemsandbridgingcommunication with system users.

• Manage vendor relationships includingpurchase ordersinvoicingandserving as the communication bridge between external vendors and internal users.

• Developexpertisein theLabcorpreporting systems both internally builtand contracted. Understand thecurrent capabilities andexisting value of the systems howtheyreusedandwhere improvements are needed.

• Establishandmaintaina quarterly roadmap for thereportingsystemsunder the purview of the rolecoordinate the executionand releaseofdevelopmentworkstay on top of system level product documentationand incorporate best practices from other teams

• Be the gathering point for information and feedback from users andleveragethis information to inform program requirements and prioritization

• Alignreleaseswith standard practices and streamline processes and workflows

• Lead programs and/or work with other program managers to ensure efficient execution of quarterly prioritized work

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 4 or more years of experience in genetics or Masters degree with 2 or more years experience in genetics or a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Masters or PhD inhumangenetics or bioinformatics

• 2 or more years of experience with SQL queries and data analysis

• 2 or more years of experience with Jira Confluence Smartsheet

Additional Job Standards:

• Experience with software development projects and working directly with software engineers and/or bioinformaticians.

• An action-oriented mindset and an interest in experimentation and iteration

• Ability to balance details with big-picture vision

• Understanding of genetics tools used in reporting and the type of information included. Technically minded of how data flows through the system.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with a diverse group of people understand and balance many viewpoints and influence without authority

• Ability to demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills

Pay Range: $100k-$125k annually (USD)

All job offers will bebased on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicabledegrees/certificationsas well as internal equity and market position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
