Salary Range: $ 150000.00 - $ 186700.00

Job Description:

Knowledge Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Scientist experienced in working with enterprise-wide logistics/financial data to support program efforts within Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps. Ideally this individual will be intimately familiar with Marine Corps logistics systems logistics data and logistics data sources and Marine Corps organization and structure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the viability of data/data sources applying HQMC Data Governance rules

- Apply approved techniques to format/transform data into usable form for analytics and visualization tools for enterprise-wide use

- Design implement and maintain data pipelines analytic systems and reporting solutions.

- Model raw data into clean tested and reusable datasets to allow stakeholders to view and understand data in a data warehouse or database

- Coordinate and obtain information internal and external to prepare spreadsheets briefings reports and/or recommendations to assist in providing responses to queries as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with data analytics data engineering software engineering or similar roles
• Masters degree in operations research Data Analytics Computer Science Software Engineering or a similar field.

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity of the organization structure of the Marine Corps operating forces the Support Establishment Reserves and other DoD agencies
• Have a mastery of HQMC administrative organization processes and procedures
• Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Suite: Word Excel Teams and PowerPoint
• Proficient in knowledge management to include 1) assessing needs and defining strategy 2) analyze and design 3) pilot and implement 4) monitor and improve.

Security Clearance:

• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
