Job Summary
Job Title: LVN / LPN Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Rochester NY 14612
Job Type: Contract (8 Weeks with high possibility of extension)
Compensation:
- Local Pay: $1300/week
- Travel Pay: $1520/week
Schedule:
- Shift: Evening (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
- Flexibility for Night Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide quality care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort
- Collaborate with RNs physicians and other healthcare staff
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent LPN experience required
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active LPN/LVN license (New York State)
- BLS Certification (AHA) required
