UnixLinux DevOps Engineer with Java Expertise

At Sopra Steria we design and operate secure highperformance digital platforms for large organisations. We are looking for a Unix/Linux DevOps Engineer with strong Java expertise to support and optimise enterprise Atlassian Jira & Confluence environments.

Your mission

• Administer and optimise RHEL-based Linux servers
• Support Java applications (Jira/Confluence) on Tomcat
• Perform JVM tuning performance optimisation and troubleshooting
• Manage Apache HTTPD SSL/TLS reverse proxies and integrations
• Ensure security reliability and compliance of critical platforms
• Collaborate with Atlassian admins DevOps and security teams

Qualifications :

• 5 years experience in Unix/Linux (RHEL) administration
• Strong expertise in Java JVM tuning Tomcat
• Solid knowledge of Apache PostgreSQL scripting (Bash/Python)
• Experience with CI/CD monitoring and security best practices
• Structured proactive and teamoriented mindset
• Fluent in English.
