Job Title: Kitchen Helper (Summer Student) Location: Centre 105 105 Second Street West Cornwall ONHours:30 hours per week: 7:00AM - 3:00PM Tuesday-FridayDuration:May 18 to August 29 2026Wage:$19/hourPosition Summary: The Kitchen Helper supports the day-to-day operations of the kitchen at Centre 105 by assisting with meal preparation maintaining cleanliness and supporting meal service. Working alongside the Kitchen Coordinator this role helps ensure the kitchen runs efficiently and that participants receive meals in a safe respectful and welcoming environment. This position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with vulnerable individuals in a community-based kitchen Responsibilities: Kitchen Support & Meal Preparation Assist with preparing and serving meals for daily breakfast service Help with basic food prep Support the Kitchen Coordinator during meal serviceCleaning & Organization Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space Wash dishes utensils and kitchen equipment Assist with daily cleaning and sanitizing of surfacesInventory Support Assist with organizing food supplies and donationsParticipant & Team Support Assist with serving meals coffee and drinks to participants Help create a welcoming and respectful environment Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
