Doyle Security Services Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced Console Operators in the White Plains area for a Corporate Location.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

• Schedule 1: Saturday & Sunday 1600-0000 Wednesday & Thursday 0000-0800
• Schedule 2: Saturday & Sunday 0800-1600

PAY RATE: $24.00 - $25.00/hr

JOB SUMMARY: Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel visitors and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicating with managers and security personnel
• CCTV monitoring and access control
• Alarm monitoring
• Maintain knowledge of client sites and status of security personnel
• Handling emergency phone calls in accordance with established procedures
• Provide detailed reports.
• Provide situational awareness of issues occurring throughout the region through internet observation news media reporting and establish inter-group communication with other support elements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1-3 years Console Operator Experience
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Some positions may require a 7-year consistent work history
