Job Summary
Seaman USD #345 has an opening for the Head Unified Bowling Coach for the 2026-27 school year.
This position runs from 10/1/26 to 11/23/26. Would prefer the candidate have coaching experience and/or have competed in the sport of bowling.
Essential Duties:
- Plan organize and oversee all aspects of the Unified Bowling season including practices competitions and postseason events.
- Ensure the program reflects Unified Sports principles emphasizing positive peer interactions and meaningful inclusion for all athletes
- Submit all transportation requests (bus/van) and ensure travel arrangements are finalized.
- Ensure all student drivers have completed and submitted the required permission forms.
- Confirm all student-athlete physicals are completed and turned in prior to participation.
- Teach and reinforce bowling techniques rules scoring lane etiquette and teamwork strategies appropriate to each athletes skill level.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all athletes while following all KSHSAA and district guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with families athletes and school staff regarding practices competitions and team expectations.
- Maintain accurate rosters attendance records scores and all necessary eligibility or compliance paperwork.
- Model professionalism patience empathy and inclusivity as a representative of the school and the Unified program.
- Establishes and maintains standards of proper student behavior and supervision at all times.
- Follows established procedures in the event of an injury.
- Follows KSHSAA regulations
- Follows established procedures for equipment supplies and uniforms.
- Participates in special activities to include parents night banquets award nights and assemblies.
- Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
