Background:
This is a maternity cover role supporting two busy partners in our award-winning Tax team as well as supporting the wider Commercial group in day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to partners and other colleagues in the Tax practice group and wider Commercial team.
- Comprehensive email and diary management.
- Managing AML requirements for client onboarding ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Managing the billing process to include time entry invoicing client account balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Managing audit/accrual requests for clients.
- Maintaining electronic files to ensure all records are up to date and easily accessible.
- Creating editing and formatting legal documents and templates.
- Digital dictation.
- Coordinating travel arrangements meetings and itineraries.
- Processing expenses.
- Maintaining and updating client marketing database.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- 4 years experience as a Legal Secretary PA/EA ideally within a law firm.
- In-depth experience with client billing/payments systems.
- Excellent IT skills in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Typing skills of at least 60 words per minute.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills oral and written.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
