About the role
Were seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of English and Humanitiesstudents!
You enjoy sharing your passion for English and/or Humanities and thrive on supporting and mentoring a diverse group of students with various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. You can also adapt your facilitation style to meet your students needs and deliver in a clear concise manner. You have demonstrated ability to collaborate within a dynamic teaching team and are committed to building the skills of your students.
You will be teaching classes at both Maitland and Belmont campuses.
About You
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills and at minimum hold a Qualification at AQF7 (or above) with 2 years of full-time study in the relevant subject area for Humanities and/or English
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
