A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Territory Manager
Location: London

At Tandem Diabetes Care we are transforming the future of insulin pump therapyand were growing fast.

As a Territory Manager youre directly responsible for promoting and selling Tandem Diabetes Care products and clinical services within an assigned territory. This role is accountable for achieving sales objectives through strong clinical adoption of Tandems insulin pump therapy and by building trusted longterm relationships across the diabetes care community.

This role goes beyond achieving sales targets. The Territory Manager acts as a clinical and commercial partner to healthcare professionals (HCPs) patients caregivers and internal stakeholderssupporting them as they navigate the complexities of Type 1 diabetes.

A Day In The Life:

  • Manage and develop the assigned territory to meet or exceed company sales goals as established by Sales Management.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans that proactively address clinical commercial and competitive dynamics.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand Tandems presence across diabetes clinics hospitals and community settings.
  • Build and sustain strong ethical professional relationships with healthcare professionals Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) patients and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Differentiate Tandems technology and services by clearly communicating clinical technical and patientcentric benefits compared to legacy insulin pump systems.
  • Effectively articulate Tandems market position integrated care approach and value to prospective accounts and partners.
  • Utilise CRM and other sales tools to manage opportunities track activity and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Managers to ensure alignment on technical support training and complex clinical discussions.
  • Partner with internal teams (Sales Clinical Customer Care and Marketing) to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience.
  • Provide education and product information to healthcare professionals and patients through inclinic training conferences health fairs and promotional events.
  • Attend and actively participate in sales training internal meetings trade shows and industry symposia.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies industry regulations data privacy requirements and legal obligations at all times.

Youre Awesome At:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with healthcare professionals patients and caregivers.
  • Strong understanding of Type 1 diabetes selfmanagement including insulin pumps automated insulin delivery (AID) systems CGMs infusion sets carbohydrate counting and emergency protocols.
  • Proven ability to work independently while delivering strategic resultsdriven outcomes in a dynamic and evolving market.
  • Confidence presenting to and influencing clinical stakeholders including senior clinicians and KOLs.
  • Experience using CRM systems and digital collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams).
  • Strong organisational skills attention to detail and a genuine commitment to supporting patients and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory. A valid UK driving licence is required unless reasonable adjustments or alternative travel arrangements can be accommodated.
  • Willingness to travel for training internal meetings and company events as required.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Extra Awesome:

  • Experience in medical device sales diabetes care endocrinology or a related healthcare or clinical field.
  • Previous experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and supporting complex healthcare professional relationships is highly preferred.
  • Direct professional clinical or personal experience with Type 1 diabetes is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals across multiple care settings.
