About the Role
The client is seeking an Audit Manager to lead and support multiple audit engagements and teams. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Tampa FL offering the opportunity to work closely with clients and internal teams to understand their businesses assess risk ensure compliance and provide meaningful audit insights.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee multiple audit engagements and teams simultaneously
Assign responsibilities to staff auditors
Review team members work for accuracy and compliance
Perform risk and control assessments
Complete audits on time and submit reports to shareholders
Present audit findings and identify opportunities to improve compliance and efficiency
Communicate regularly with clients to understand their businesses and industries
Participate in networking and community events
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting required
CPA license required
6 years of experience in a public accounting setting
Strong accounting and auditing knowledge
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
Strong leadership review and team development skills
Professional communication skills
Ability to think and work independently
Masters degree in Accounting preferred
Experience with CCH ProSystem fx and PPC Smart preferred
Multi-industry experience preferred including construction manufacturing small business healthcare technology nonprofit government or benefit plans
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $105000$140000
Annual bonus opportunity of 10%
