About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) youll play a key role in providing high-quality personalized care to our residents. We are looking for compassionate caregivers who understand and respect the physical emotional and spiritual needs of the elderly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and toileting

• Help residents safely navigate the community including escorting to meals activities and appointments

• Support dining activities (cutting food serving feeding assistance as needed)

• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms beds and personal belongings

• Take vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure weight) and perform S&As when requested

• Assist with resident admissions and care documentation

• Encourage participation in community events and accompany residents to recreational activities

• Maintain accurate daily flow sheets and care notes

• Foster meaningful 1-on-1 connections with residents by understanding their individual needs

• Attend scheduled in-services and continue developing gerontology knowledge through readings and discussion

Requirements

• Current or soon-to-be active California CNA certification

• Knowledge of standard nursing practices and use of relevant patient care equipment and materials

• Ability to pass a physical exam upon hire and annually thereafter

• Compassionate and patient-centered care mindset
