Position: Economics Chart Analysis Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $75$83/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on economics problems.
- Produce original problem sets grounded in economic charts econometric output policy figures and time-series plots.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance task quality and throughput.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Economics MS/MA in Economics with 3 years applied policy or teaching experience or BA/BS in Economics with 5 years applied industry or research experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: micro macro econometrics industrial organization labor economics development.
- Comfortable interpreting economic charts econometric output policy figures and time-series plots.
- Clear technical writing skills with the ability to articulate reasoning step-by-step.
