Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Enclosure Foreman to lead projects within our Enclosure Department. This role is responsible for supervising field and shop operations ensuring jobsite safety managing crew productivity and delivering high-quality project completion. The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on leader with experience in construction or manufacturing environments. May require occasional travel to job sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise enclosure projects to ensure timely and high-quality completion
- Enforce all safety rules and OSHA compliance at all times
- Plan and manage work schedules for employees and contractors
- Recruit hire train and mentor team members
- Read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical documents
- Maintain and enforce quality control standards
- Quickly resolve on-site issues and communication challenges
- Support team productivity and assist with hands-on work when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- An electrical license in the state of Iowa is preferred
- Experience in construction manufacturing or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled with hand tools and measurement tools (tape measure etc.)
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand crouch kneel climb and move throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly; 50100 lbs with assistance
- Exposure to industrial environments loud machinery and outdoor conditions
- Must be physically capable of performing hands-on job duties
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior foreman or supervisory experience in construction or manufacturing
- Experience in hiring training and managing crews
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices
- Strong experience using hand tools and measurement equipment
